Need hyperlink to physical path not virtual path

Hello guys,

I've got a report that lists labels as the Month and Year (example March 2010, February 2010).

I need to add hyperlinks to these labels that should point to a physical path on the LAN (example ipaddressfolder1folder2march2010.html and ipaddressfolder1folder2february2010.html)

When I add a hyperlink to the report as "uri" and specify the link as "ipaddressfolder1folder2march2010.html",

it resolves to "http://127.0.0.1:58521/ipaddress/folder1..... and so on"

How can I get it to point to the files from the current folder or parent folder without hardcoding the path?

Hey thanks for the reply.

Using file:// How will I refer a file from the current folder or parent folder without hardcoding the path.

This is because the reports are saved as HTML and the report path may change in future.

For your example ipaddressfolder1folder2march2010.html would be the same as file://///ipaddress/folder1/folder2/march2010.html with the file hyperlink syntax.

Well, to make make my question more clear let me put it this way.

When a hyperlink is added we specify a path as ../file1.html (here file1.html is looked into the parent folder) or just file.html (here the file is looked into the current folder)

So if i need to refer to the current folder how do I specify using file:// url.#

After opening the report as html I save the report as html in a folder and hence the hyperlinks need to refer the current folder as the previous files are also saved here.
