Problems with BIRT 2.2

Hi,

i drag & drop a Data Element to Body Report, BIRT suggests me "Column Binding_1", i define the Data Type and Expression and everything works fine...but if i delete this Data Element form the body i can´t use again the name "Column Binding_1" in new Data Element, this object isn't in body report but is still on XML, why? Bug?

Is there any chance of refreshing the xml to remove old references?

When you add the Data Element it is creating a new Data Binding for the Table.

If the control is removed the Data Binding will still exist at the table level so that it can still be used in existing or new controls that are added.

To remove the Data Binding click on the Table. In the Property Editor there is a Binding tab where you can modify the Data Bindings.
