Upgrading 2.2 to 2.5 problems

Hi,

with pluging 2.2 i use the following code to create a ScriptDataSet through my Java application:

ScriptDataSetHandle scriptDataSet = factory.newScriptDataSet(dataSetName);
scriptDataSet.setDataSource(dataSource);
scriptDataSet.setOpen(openMethod);
scriptDataSet.setFetch(fetchMethod);

....

PropertyHandle resultSet = scriptDataSet.getPropertyHandle(ScriptDataSetHandle.RESULT_SET_PROP);
PropertyHandle columnHint = scriptDataSet.getPropertyHandle(ScriptDataSetHandle.COLUMN_HINTS_PROP);

........


ColumnHint ch = StructureFactory.createColumnHint();
ch.setProperty("columnName", columnProperties.getColumnName());
ch.setProperty("displayName",columnProperties.getColumnDisplayName());
columnHint.addItem(ch);

ResultSetColumn rs = StructureFactory.createResultSetColumn();
rs.setColumnName(columnProperties.getColumnName());
rs.setPosition(columnProperties.getColumnPosition());
rs.setDataType(columnProperties.getColumnType());
resultSet.addItem(rs);

design.getDataSets().add(dataSetName);
.....


when i edit the report, everything is fine, click on dataset and it shows me all the columns and properties, with the same code in BIRT 2.5 when i edit the report, the dataset is created but without columns....double click on dataset name and nothing appears..any suggestion?

I'm working with BIRT 2.5 and Eclipse Galileo, any suggestion?

Hi smgomes,

Are you getting any type of error at all? Or is it just blank? Is that all of your code?
