How do i set a parameter into a xml dataset?
Sample xml structure below:
<Books>
<Book>
<Title>Book 1</Title>
<Author>Alan</Author>
</Book>
<Book>
<Title>Book 2</Title>
<Author>Simon</Author>
</Book>
</Books>
I try to use the following //Book[2] in the row mapping of my data set and it works (get the second book data) but when i use //Book[Author='Simon'] the data set returns nothing.
I am using birt 2.5.1. What i am trying to do here is to use Dataset parameter binding to optimize report performance as recommended.
