Persistent variable not persisting?

Take a look at the report detailed here:

This works appropriately in the preview (RunAndRender), but fails in the webviewer (Run then Render). The failure relates to the length of an array, an array that is set as a persistentGlobalVariable. 
 
Any ideas how to over come this?

Can you create a sample report demonstrating the problem?

My problem has been solved. JavaScript arrays are not able to persist. I changed all of my arrays to ArrayLists and my report now works correctly. Thanks for the reply.
