XML Data in Birt report Using Servlet?

Can i print the XML data in report design using Servlet?

I connected JDBC MySQL Datasource and i access the data from the database.

To create a query, get the data and change it to XML form. Then stored it a single string using XMLOutputter.

Now i want to print this XML data to Report design using servlet...

For example my XML is

"<Cusotmer>
<CustomerNo>12</CustomerNo>
<CustomerName>****</CustomerName>
<CustomerAddress>CustomerAddess ****</CustomerAddress>
</Customer>"

And I print the Data field as well as the Label field from this XML..

Can i have done this?

What is the reason for converting to XML rather than just using the data from your query dataSet?

First thanks for your reply and sorry for my poor english,

Initially i viewed the output in XSL using XML format in my project.

Here i form the XML data based on multiple queries.

Put this XML into document and remove some elements from the document and add some elements to this documents based on some condition and queries.

Then i convert it into the string and printed in XSL file to view the output.

Now i would like to view the output the report design.

That is why i want now print my XML data in report design...
