Is it possible set align to Table?

Is is possible to set the align property to table in birt report design using Servlet?

I using this code,

When debug the code it shows an exception,

TableHandle table = designFactory.newTableItem( "table", cols.length );
table.setProperty("Align", "Center");

The property "Align" is invalid for element "table".

How can i solve this?

Hi Myl,

Are you trying to center the table? Or the contents of the table?

To center a table, you'd need to use a grid. To center the text of a table, the property is "textAlign". Hope this helps.

Now i displayed the data in center of the table.

But i would like to print the table in middle of the screen..

Is it possible to display the table in middle?

If you put the table in the grid, you can choose to align the grid's contents, which would include the table, in the center. You'd do this by setting the alignment to center in the property editor for the grid.
