Issue while upgrading BIRT runtime from 2.3.2 to 2.5.2

With latest BIRT Runtime , we are seeing an extra character in the TextItem with HTML content. This extra character "Â" is appearing with each character in the HTML.

Please help me , how can I get rid of this extra character

Please find the attached rpt design file.If we are using in the "Text" element then we see a special character on the screen.

We are generating reports using the following java code.

IDesignEngine birtDesignEngine = BirtEngine.getBirtDesignEngine();
SessionHandle sessionHandle = birtDesignEngine.newSessionHandle( ULocale.forLocale(locale)) ;
ReportDesignHandle report = null;
IReportRunnable design;
IRunAndRenderTask task = null;
try
{
design = birtReportEngine.openReportDesign(report);
task = birtReportEngine.createRunAndRenderTask(design);
task.setLocale(ULocale.forLocale(locale));
task.setAppContext(contextMap);
task.run();
}
catch (EngineException e)

}

Can you make sure you set the type for the text element as HTML? It is in the drop down box at the top. The report you posted had it set to auto.

My report is now working fine, it was the issue of InputStream and InputReader
, with old version of BIRT runtime even InputStream was working fine , but now
when I changed the code to read the generated report through InputReader it is
working fine.
