QuickStart Mashboard Project Configuration does not exists, or you do not have permis

Need help.

Install Mashboard on iserver express. Follow the installation doc but when try to log on I got error:

"QuickStart Mashboard Project Configuration does not exists, or you do not have permissions"

In log file, it have error:

When you deployed the Mashboard configuration files to the iServer did you add security to those files? You need to make the default mashconfig file visible to the user you are logging into the Mashboard as.

The easiest thing to do when getting things up and running is to give "All" full control of the file. Once the installation is successful you can easily tweak the security to meet your needs.

I gave full control to all config files that I updoaded. But still grt error.

Whatelse I should try.

Can you lo into straight iPortal and request and see a BIRT report from the target volume?

When you load the Mashboard login page for QuickStart, underneath the user name and password fields you will see a log in options link. When you click that, what do you see? You should at a minimum see a drop-down list of available volumes. Make sure the volume you are targeting is the selected one.

It checks the volume and it is the right one.

What is the name of the target volume? Is it the default volume on the iServer or an additional volume added after installation?

I asked earlier if you can log into Information Console directly (bypassing Mashboard) and targeting the volume you are trying to use Mashboard with. This is an important test as it will tell us if the problem lies in the Information Console set up (which Mashboard uses) or in the Mashboard installation itself.
