I'm trying to yank some BIRT HTML output and toss it into an HTML email. One of the big issues is that Gmail ignores external CSS references, as well as <style> tags. It only responds to style attributes on other HTML elements. 
 
I can always run the output through a tool like <a class='bbc_url' href='http://premailer.dialect.ca/'>Premailer: pre-flight for HTML email</a> I just thought I'd check and see if BIRT had some magic switch I could flip that would do the same thing.
