Overlaying transparent PNGs
ssbirt
Is it possible to overlay/combine 2 or more transparent PNG images to create a single image that is shown in a BIRT report?

If you only need it in HTML you could add a text element and use z-order like:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<DIV STYLE="{position: absolute; top: 50; left: 100; z-index:2;}"><br />
<img src='

alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /><br />
</DIV><br />
<br />
<DIV STYLE="{position: absolute; top: 50; left: 100; z-index:1;}"><br />
<img src='
http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/project/images/2.1/chartingfinals.PNG'
alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /><br />
</DIV><br />
<br />
Set the type to html. This will not work in pdf output.<br />

Thanks. This is good to know. However, I would need a solution for HTML and PDF.

This example in the devShare also does absolute positioning, but unfortunately it only works for HTML as well.<br />
