Do you know how to use JNDI as a <data-source> in a report design?
<data-sources>
<oda-data-source extensionID="org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc" name="Data Source" id="7">
<property name="odaDriverClass">com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</property>
<property name="odaURL">jdbc:mysql://localhost/scrumworks</property>
<property name="odaUser">root</property>
<encrypted-property name="odaPassword" encryptionID="jce">e76d438bf0cbbfd9caab65efdde92e0b</encrypted-property>
</oda-data-source>
</data-sources>
That’s the section from a .rptdesign file. As you can see it specifies a specific Driver, Username, and Password.
We would like to not specify any of those and use just a simple JNDI name that we already have configured in
Our existing JBoss server. We have deployed ActuateJavaComponet within our existing JBoss to view this report.
I would like to see an example <data-sources> entry that works with JNDI?
