Plugin implementation on server side

I got this sample plugin that i get from the following link:

It works find on my eclipse and i can preview the custom report item through the Preview tab and Run > View Report > As DOC. 
 
However, the custom report item in actual report does not render when i apply the plugin to my local server. 
 
The application i am running is calling the birtruntime to render birt report during runtime. I have place the plugin jar file under the birt-runtime-2_5_1ReportEngineplugins directory. In the console, no error shown as well. 
 
Is there any steps that i missing or something wrong with my exported plugins.

Attached exported plugin file. Renamed the file to zip instead of .jar file for uploading.

Did you bounce the server? What server is this? Can you attach your sample BIRT report?

Yes, i have restarted/bounced the server.

I am running a web application in my local machine (Window Vista) through eclipse 2.3 and using a tomcat v5.5 Server.

During runtime i pointed my application to the birtruntime folder at C:birt-runtime-2_5_1ReportEngine. The report is in birt 2.5 version.

When i generate the report, everything works fine (no error in console, report gets generated) but the only problem is the custom report item does not render.

I can attached my report for you to view.

Hi sthien,
I looked at the manifest file in your plugin and it seems it has dependency on org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui bundle. BIRT runtime does not have ui bundle since it is only geared for runtime usage. So if you could remove dependency on the ui bundle and recreate the plugin it will work. I have tried this at my end and I could see rotated text.

Hi Ashwini,

Yes, i have tried at my end and it really works!!! Thanks a lot for the help. All i need to do is open the jar with winRar and edit the manifest then save it.
