Unable to uses multiple value parameter with ClearQuest Query

I am using ClearQuest 7.1.0.2 with the 2.2.1 BIRT version that comes included. I created a data set based upon a ClearQuest query that contains a dynamic filter in the query. If I create a parameter in BIRT and select the "Allow Multiple Values" option, it no longer appears in the list of values associated with the "Linked to Report Parameter" field in the Parameters section when editting the data set. Is there no way to allow the passing of multiple parameter values from the report to the ClearQuest query?
