Interactive Viewer Question

We wanted the option to start off with the standard Birt viewer and then later use the Actuate Interactive Viewer.

Can the Actuate Interactive Viewer just be dropped in place of the standard Birt Viewer without any impact the existing reports?

Yes as it supports the standard BIRT servlet mappings. You can test this by downloading the Actuate Java Components and trying the interactive viewer.
