BIRT pagination

We have a requirement to implement pagination in BIRT report. Does BIRT provide configurations/API to implement paginations in the reports. Assuming we have 500 records the need is to show 50 records at a time and have page links for the next set of records. Let me know the options available.

Hi Rajesh,

You have three options for Page Break control on each element (Header, Group, Detail, Footer...) in a table. You can control Page Break Before / After / Inside, and at the table level you can set the Interval.

If you need a very specific number of records on each page, you may need to do this with either a Java Event Handler or a script in the detail or grouping row.
