Problems with Scripted Datasource Eclipse Preview
Smoeker
hi,
i am trying to design a Birt Report using Scripted Datasources and run into problems on preview within eclipse.
my report runs fine (and shows preivew) on the first time i execute the preview after restart of eclipse - every following attempt i receive errors.
-> my constellation :report + scripted datasource are within same project.
-> the DataSource uses Businesscunctions from another JAVA Project that is using hibernate to retrieve data from a database
-> i added the dependent hibernate project and all requiered jars to the classpath of the reporting project
result as described : first preview works, all following i receive exception :
(shortened version : )
at org.mortbay.thread.QueuedThreadPool$PoolThread.run(QueuedThreadPool.java:520)
Caused by: org.eclipse.birt.data.engine.core.DataException: A BIRT exception occurred: Error evaluating Javascript expression. Script engine error: Wrapped java.lang.RuntimeException: interface org.hibernate.jdbc.ConnectionWrapper is not visible from class loader (#3)
Script source: , line: 0, text:
__bm_OPEN(). See next exception for more information.

Seems, as if hibernate classes arent visible, so i think it is a classpath problem, but why does it work the first time?
i already have read some threads using scriptlib directory for dependent libraries - how would that work for me (concering dependent project and hibernate.properties)?
thnx in advance for any help
Smoeker
