How to display 24 hour timeline on x-axis
cantyman
We show when a request comes in (request date) and how long it took to respond to the request (seconds).
We have the following data structure in our database:
Request Date | seconds
2010-06-12 08:00:30 | 2
2010-06-12 10:02:15 | 3
2010-06-12 11:10:45 | 4
2010-06-12 13:21:30 | 1
2010-06-12 16:15:30 | 2
2010-06-12 18:23:30 | 3
In our original chart we plot Request Date vs. seconds. Instead, we would like to have a 24 hour timeline on the x-axis (00:00 - 23:00) and the seconds column displayed on the y-axis.
How can this be done?

Hi cantyman,
One way to handle this requirement is to create a new calculated column that has the total number of seconds since the beginning of that day and use this value for your timeline axis. You can use functions available in expression builder to calculate the time span.
