Stop Report rptdocument Generation

Hi all

i wana ask if there is a way to stop the run method when it still running for example when i call
runTask.run("the rptdesign url") i need add an opotion for the user to cancel this process and stop rptdocument generation i try

the runTsk.cancel() method but it's just change the status to canceled but the report continue generation ?

any idea ?
