Files already attached to a workflow
Johnny
Hi Guys,
I do remember there was a thread about this, I just couldnt find it again sorry.
I need to make sure that files are not running in concurrent workflows.
Basically the workflow should not go ahead if a file is already attached to another job
When I look at File Properties in the GUI, it will note which task/job this file is attached to if any.
How do I retrieve this information myself.
I did not seem to find any attributes for this using iwattrib.
Does it mean I have to go through all the jobs/tasks with TeamSite::Wftask and troll through all files?...
Thanks

There is probably a more efficient way to do this, but I would start out by performing an
iwqueryjobs
or
iwquerytasks
against all active jobs or tasks. Once I get a list of those I would loop through and probably use GetFiles() to see if the files match. That's one way to do it.

Are you looking for the "iwgetfilejobs" CLT?

Where is the iwgetfilejobs CLT located? I don't see it in my iw-bin directory.
Oh it's in the iw-home/bin directory. Which begs the question - why the **** are the CLTs split into 2 different paths in the filesystem?

They're not. iw-home/httpd/iw-bin is cgi scripts intended to be run through the web server.
iw-home/bin is the command line tools, like iwextattr, iwgetfilejobs, iwqueryjobs, etc.

Oh...I guess that's true. My mistake. Guess I needed more sleep last night.
