List of Workareas in a Combobox

In a typical Workflow template, once an user selects a branch from the combobox, Is it possible to get a dropdown of appropriate workareas for that branch. It may be difficult for an user to enter the name of workarea ?

I think some people may have managed to do this with javascript code - but more often than not it becomes a case of validation more than creation of a drop-down menu.

The general practice is to have workflows started from within workareas and use that information implicitly rather than prompting for a branch and workarea during instantiation.

you can do this with perl and js..

In the wf template have perl code to read all the branches and their respective workareas in each branch and store it in a JS variable.

For each branch there will be a js variable having the workareas.

write JS code to populate the combo box with the value in js variable on the change of the branch selection.
