Need to run Birt Report Design 2.3.0 using BIrt Runtime 2.1.3

I have created Birt Report design templates using Birt Designer 2.3.0. Now, i need to downgrade these designs to older version 2.1.3, to make it compatible with Birt Runtime 2.1.3. Is it possible?, or if there is any tool to migrate the designs to older version?

Hi ravi sapra,

You can try changing the version info in the XML source to match the 2.1.3 version info. If you're not using functionality that didn't exist in 2.1.3 when you designed the reports in 2.3, this should work. You could download the 2.1.3 designer to make this change and check for any errors that you get after making the version switch. Hope this helps.
