DCR does not save

hi!
has anyone ever faced the next problem:
I'm creating a dcr (with or without formapi), and when i finish and try to save it i get the next error:

"The DCR /<path to dcr> failed to save.
Check the path or contact your TeamSite administrator."

The user im testing its the owner of the branch and has the admin role, even master role wont save.

we were able to save dcrs in that workarea a few hours before but suddenly the problem came on.
any idea what could be causing this, and how to solve it?

Try to go to the path from the file system interface as Y:\default\main ..... (if windows) or /default/main (solaris) and try to create a file in that folder. see if that works. try to do it as the user you are logged in as in TS.

Check to see if that path even exists to start with.

Hi,
Make the following checks:
a) In templating.cfg in the save dir path check if the path is correct and the current user has sufficient rights to perform the same.
b) check for the type="IWOV" sometimes unknowingly IWOV is replaced by XML by us. One of my colleagues had done this.
c) Restart the services and check again.

The path is case sensitive. saving to "templatetype/Data" will not work if your path is "templatetype/data".
