Prevent XLS output

Greetings,

My company uses a Tomcat server on an Ubuntu box to host our BIRT Report Engine. We design all of our reports to use the PDF format, and was wondering how we can limit the types of output that the Report Engine will render. Specifically, we want to only output PDF files.

I dont remember off the top of my head if you can configure that in the web viewer, but a sure fire way would be to delete the XLS emitter plugin. It should be in the plugins folder, and called org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.emitter.prototype.excel. This would require a restart of the BIRT service.
