Drill Through Report Parameter History

We just upgraded to version 2.5.2, after sitting on version 2.3.1 for a while...

We have a number of drill through reports that open in the same window. When we drill through into a report, we would like to be able to "go back" to the previous report using the browser "back" button.

Currently, when we go back, the parameters that were previously entered are forgotten and the user must re-enter the parameters to view the report again.

Is there any way to retain these parameters? Could we use a session variable to store each parameter? Or is there a way to handle it using the default value setting for the parameters?

Hi Brian,

You could keep track of the parameter in a variable. Then you could put a label in your report with a hyperlink that allows the user to go back to the last report and use the "lastPage" parameter to pass the last parameters through so the user doesn't have to re-enter them.
