REPORT FOR EMC IONIX

hi all!

I want to generate some report for my tool EMC IONIX, where i have created a report using BIRT but now i want to
limt my no. of rows in a report using the run time parameters, means i want to manually pass some parameters like start date, end date, start time & end time when i'll rum the report and i want the data for that interval only.

For this i have seen an option of filters while creating data set, where in the exprssion builder we can apply some conditions, but can i use those run time parameters there, if yes thn how???

It should work as params["name"].value

You might also prefer to parameterize the query, or do the filtering in the DataSet.
