Too Many Clicks to Print from Maximo

Is anybody else frustrated with the number of clicks you have to go through to get a BIRT report to print from Maximo? Short of turning on Direct Print and adding the print icon to the toolbar, is there another way to streamline printing? Has anybody figured out how to print directly to the printer from the Request Page, by-passing the HTML view and Adobe window?
