Unable to run iServer Express

Hello,

I have just downloaded and installed an evaluation of iServer Express. Unfortunatley I am not getting anywhere when I try to run iServer. The browser shows this message at the bottom repeatedly: "Downloading picture http://localhost:8900/iportal/iportal/activePortal/images/actuate_logo.gig..." I don't really know where to begin.

Also, are there troubleshooting FAQs or other resources on BIRT Exchange that might answer questions of this nature?

Can you make sure the iServer service is in running state? What version of iServer Express is it and what is your operating platform?

I got this error when we installed iServer on a secure site https vs http. So if you use https in the URL instead that might work. As for a troubleshooting FAQ lots of questions have been answered on this forum, but I have yet to find a troubleshooting guide or FAQ on BIRT Exchange.

Thanks for your responses. This problem was caused by me checking a box I should not have checked during the installation process. It's running now.
