Hi ramshankar,
You can configure the session timeout value in iServer\servletcontainer\iportal\WEB-INF\web.xml file, the parameter that defines the value is called LOGIN_TIMEOUT. To enable interactivity by default let me know the exact version of iServer you are working with.

We are using Actuate i Server Version 10 (Build 100B081204), I am still getting the session timeout after changing iserver\AcServer\servletcontainer\iportal\WEB-INF\web.xml file.

Please could you advise?
Do I need to change /iserver/AcServer/servletcontainer/mgmtconsole/WEB-INF the file also to resolve this issue?

Can you follow the customization as discussed in the following thread to enable interview view mode by default:

You dont need to change /iserver/AcServer/servletcontainer/mgmtconsole/WEB-IN. What values did you specify in web config file, can you please descibe your use case?

It also takes a change in the Database Connection Pool Manager Settings ( [font="arial, sans-serif;"]Volumes [/font][font="wingdings;"]Ã [/font][font="arial, sans-serif;"] Properties [/font][font="wingdings;"]Ã [/font][font="arial, sans-serif;"] tab Advanced) to ensure the connection to the metadatabase is not severed after the value that is used there.[/font]
