subTab group on superTab,how?
kevin23_hy
Hello all,
i have a requirement that Each column should be independent of the result set, how to associate these groups out.
As i know one table just can bind one dataset so i thought two ways to handle it.
The one is that each dataset added a joint dataset to associate(left joint) the grouping filed(associated filed) of each table that the result set will become the growth of 1 + 2n.
The other one is that used the embed subtab to bind each dataset but problem is that subtable's group how to associate the group filed of supertable?
i try to add subtab's group property equals supertable grouping filed but not able to reach out to group.
so i need your help for 2nd ways or more better ways to solve my requirement.

Hi Kevin,
Can you explain a little more about what you're trying to do? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the column being independent of the result set. Let me know, thanks!

hi,williams
simply to say that i want know a table/xtab whether can bind multiple(different) dataset?

I see. A single table and/or crosstab can only bind one dataSet. However, you can embed tables or crosstabs attached to different dataSets within the table attached to the first dataSet. Does this answer your question?
