BIRT Studio and multiple data sets.

These are general questions about the supported features of BIRT Studio.
1. In a report template with multiple data sets, how can I use more than one data set at a time?
Can the user join these simpler data sets from within BIRT studio somehow? By adding more than one data set?
2. Is there any web based way to join data sets? Is this something only Report Designer can do?

Hi khobbs333,
Yes you can work with multiple data sets in BIRT Studio. Start with designing your data sets as information objects(IO). IO designer runs as a separate perspective in Actuate BIRT report designer professional. IO lives and runs inside iServer environment. Now in BIRT studio when you select a BIRT template that does not have a data set defined in it you will be prompted to select a IO. You can add more IO's and join them all within the browser based environment. You can find more details in the product documentation:
