Image not displaying

hello all,

I am using 2.3.2. When I insert an image using the shared resources, the image only shows a picture of a red X in the web viewer. But when I view the report in PDF, the image is displayed.

I tried using shared resources and creating my own Blob data binding using the javascript (referred to in link) with same end result.

If no one has any suggestions, can someone tell me if pictures show in their web viewer?

I don't believe I've ever run into this issue before. What is your image type? bmp, jpg, etc? What browser are you using? Are you talking about the image when deployed to an app server? Or just when trying to use the viewer from the designer? Let me know, I'll try to help!

Thanks for the assistance Mr. Guru. The image is a .jpg and I am using eclipse's (v: 3.4.2) report designer. When I click on Preview and when I click View Report in Web Viewer, only an red X is shown. But when I use View Report in PDF or DOC, the image is shown. 
 
I have configured Report Design's Resource folder and tried hard coding image location with same results.

It appears there is something wrong with the picture, as I have tried another picture and it works. The picture appears fine in windows.
