Dynamic dashboard

Hi,

What i use is iServer Express.

Can anyone privides some documents about create "links" between gadgets. I do not know if it is called "link", what i mean is the action in one gadget will bring the data in another gadget reload. Just like in mashboard.

Another question is: can dynamic dashboards be embeded in other web applications easily, or how to generate dynamic dashboards in a general web application using JSAPI.

Also starting with version 11, Actuate has a new product called BIRT 360 that brings this capability in the form of operational and analytics dashboard. You can download an evaluation copy of version 11 products from:

I can answer A11 Dashboard questions: 
#1 - If the visualization and selector gadgets are from same datasource, then the link is automatically created. You can edit the link from gadget menu 'Link'. 
#2 - You can use Dashboard JSAPI to embed pre-created dashboards. Documentation should have info about this.

And I can answer the 2 Mashboard questions: 
#1 - Probably the best way to add the Mashboard into other web applications would be to reduce the height of the banner to 0 and use an <iframe> tag to reference the Mashboard URL. 
#2 - The Mashboard will not be upgraded to Actuate version 11. In A11, the Mashboard will be replaced by the powerful BIRT 360 Dashboard. All Mashboard content will display in the new BIRT 360 Dashboard without modification, except for inter-portlet communication. Most Mashboard inter-portlet communication can be handled by BIRT 360 Dashboard built-in behavior. The BIRT 360 Dashboard product will allow all Mashboard content to be easily configured through its browser user interface, thus eliminating the need to configure and manage sets of Mashboard XML files. We think you'll absolutely love how easy it is to use.
