PDF, Signature and Compilance PDF/A

Hello all,

I'm using Birt to generate reports in pdf format from a xml DataSource,
Birt works great and I'm very satisfied.

Now I have to do 2 things:

- Sign the pdf
- Set the compliance of the pdf to the standard PDF/A

I have searched a lot, but I have only found that these 2 features are achieved by using iText.

How can i using BIRT Report Engine, access to iText and implements the 2 features above?

Someone have an idea?
