BIRT 2.3.2 PDF and PPT Emitter having issues with Russian and Czech Characters

Hi,

We are currently using BIRT Version 2.3.2 and are using the APIs to generate the Reports in PDF and PPT. We have localized our properties file and we seem to see an issue with the way the Russian and CZech characters are rendered in PDF and PPT.

In the HTML Version everything looks like ok, but in PDF and PPT BIRT seems to introduce one extra space between some special characters.

Has anybody encountered any error like this before ?

Hi karthikr,

You might try downloading a newer version of BIRT and seeing if this is still an issue. It could have been a bug that is now fixed. If it's not fixed, you can log a bug for it at http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/resources/bug-reporting/.
