How to open a report in Eclipse of higher version

I designed a report in Eclipse with version is "3.4.2", in the "XML Source" tab the version is "3.2.17" ( Means like this <pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'><report xmlns="http://www.eclipse.org/birt/2005/design" version="3.2.17" id="1"></pre>), but the thing is i am unable to open a report of version "3.2.21". so how to resolve this. Do i need to download this specific version(any plugin like that), can anyone kindly reply asap....to resolve this.

You can try changing the version information in the XML source to match that of your version. This works in many cases.
