Image Renderin in pdf

Hello BIRT community,

is there any way where the image after used in BIRT and export to PDF is shown as vector graphic instead of bitmap.

Testing the rotated text tutorial I have noticed that the output is a pixel/bitmap graph. Can I build custom items where the output is vector graph?
