BIRT runtime jar loading

Hi,
We are using BIRT as report engine in our Product. In the WEB-INF/ folder we are having a folder platform with lots of jar files in the plugin folder.

Bit curios about the memory foot print , When BIRT load all these jars ? At the startup , at the time of creation of BIRTEngine or on demand when we need certain feature in the report.

The jars in the plugins folders should be loaded when a specific plugins functions are used.

Thanks Jason, Just wanted to check with BIRT 3.7 , is the behavior same , as now we are putting all the jar files in the WEB-INF/lib folder ??

Well in 3.7 the birt runtime is essentially in one jar which should get loaded right away when the viewer starts.
