Cut and Paste from DreamWeaver to visualformater ?
nipper
Has anyone tried to cut and paste HTML text into the visual formatter ? It copies text but not the formatting.
Any way to get the formatting ?

In the DW edit menu there is an option to "copy html" (ctrl + shift + C), this should copy the formatting as well.

Right & that will copy <b> html </> and paste that into Visual Formatter (as is)
Users are pasting it into the HTML view, which is not popular.
What they desire is the ability for cut & paste to work like MS Word, where it keeps the formatting & drops it WYSIWYG

Hi, I'm not using Dreamweaver, but for instance copying content from a webpage with links and tables into the VisualFormat (wysiwyg view) works fine for us. This worked out of the box, so I don't know what you would have to change, or if this is the functionality you want. Perhaps check the visualformatconfig.xml file? There's another one, too: config.xml (in the ewebeditpro20 directory).
This is in TS5.5.2 (Solaris), SP2.

So based on what Ela is saying, your users could preview in DW (F12) and copy out of the browser window.
