Chart parameter expression bug for 2.5.2
bobliusf
Hi,
I noticed that using the same expression for parameters in drilldown data table links don't work for chart drill downs.
For example,
if(params["graph_by"].value == "Group1" && data["Group"] != "") {
"'" + data["Group"]+ "'";
}
else
params["Group"].value;
works for data table drilldowns, but not for chart drilldowns in the sense no value will be in the generated drilldown link while the expression check showed no errors. On the other hand, switching to the following would work:
params["graph_by"].value=="Group1"?"'"+row["Group"]+"'":params["Group"].value
Just wondering if this is a known bug for the particular version of birt?

Hi bobliusf,
Is your table a crosstab? Not a standard table? If so, a crosstab doesn't use "rows" it uses a "data" call because it doesn't have standard rows and columns like a regular table. Let me know if this is not the case.
