How toa void the blank columns in cross tab

HI,

I was using cross tab display the results.While displaying reasult i had prbolem in displaying the blank columns.How can i avoid this problem is there any way to avoid this problem.I have data cube with 3 groups and 1 summary and i draged one group to above summary field.example that dragged group is nothing but year so if the data is not avilalbe for one particular year for the activty it will display null.

Is there any i can avoid this.I am attaching the image of my result

I have seen Empty Rows and columns concept.this will work only when entire row or column is not having any data.In one case i need this and another case want to show all even if the rows or empty. But My problem is, if have 10 rows and 3 columns and my data is there in one of column in one row. is it possible to avoid showing some remaing fieds in that row .
