Export to Excel Leading zero

Hi,

I have a field that has leading zeros (0000123456). Report runs fine but when export it into excel, I lose my zeros (0000123456 becomes 123456). I need to keep the zeros once exported.

Maximo 7.1.1.5 & Birt (2.3.2)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
