How to iterate the rows in a report
vidyasri
hi,<br />
we have a pr print report which prints all the data related to a particular PR number.<br />
Now the requirement is to run a query which retrieves a list of Pr nums basing on the status and then print all the PR print reports for each Pr num record in a <strong class='bbc'>single report </strong>and send it to the user in an email attachment every day.<br />
Can any one help me as to how to proceed with this?

Hi Vidyasri,
You can make your report parameter driven that will accept the Pr numbers and then use this value to filter your data set used to generate the report. Now this report could be scheduled to run on a daily basis (with parameters read from a file or generated within the same report through a query) and have it emailed to the users through iServer.

BIRT parameter type "List Box" allows multiple values. Here are a few devshare resources that throws more light on this aspect:<br />

Hi Ashwini,
Thanksa lot for your help.
That got sorted now.
I have another question like,
I'm passing 2 input scalar parameters, site and storeroom.
Is there any way to filter the parameter storeroom for the input given in site.
When selecting site in the input parameters the list of storerooms should only show storerooms for that site.

Cascading parameter would be perfect for your need. Here are some helpful links:
