'drill to details' report - only first page displays in details

I used the following example to as a basis to build a master report with hyperlinks to the details report:

Here's the problem I'm running into. I've found, that in the BIRT report designer (using version 2.6.1), the 'detail report' will not display beyond the first page when run via the hyperlink in the master report. If you run the detail report by itself in the BIRT designer, the entire report is run.

Any thoughts on what may be causing this, could there be a setting I'm missing? I'm setting the format to output in html, in a new window, just like in the example.

I have attached my update where we can duplicate the issues. But just in case there's any troubles opening the file(s) (as I modified using BIRT designer 2.6.1 for Actuate 11), all I did was take the OrderDetailAfter file from the url mentioned above, and modify the sql in it to be:

select *
from CLASSICMODELS.ORDERDETAILS
where CLASSICMODELS.ORDERDETAILS.ORDERNUMBER = ?
or CLASSICMODELS.ORDERDETAILS.ORDERNUMBER in (10410,10411,10412,10413,10414,10415,10416,10417,10418,10419,10420,10421,10422,10423,10424,10425)

I don't know that I'm seeing the same thing. Are you talking in the Web Viewer or in PDF? In the web viewer, I see multiple pages when I click on a hyperlink. In PDF, I only see one page, but it contains all records. It doesn't seem that this window is PDF, it seems like a HTML page, so that may be the issue. I don't have it deployed though, so it may act differently in PDF deployed than from the designer.

I am running the master report using the preview window of report designer and also via web viewer.

I do think it may just be an issue with how it's displayed in the designer or maybe just a designer setting, when click the link to the drill down report and it is exported to html. Due to this, I think it will work fine once deployed to web, but will let know any help needed once i get to that step.

I have one more question related: I've got some reports that, when run in preview tab or web viewer, some will display the whole report as one page, and only shows the header once - and only repeats the header for each page when exported to pdf (these are reports that someone else developed) . Other reports, (ones that I created from scratch), show the header on every page in the preview window. I have been looking around, researching and so far haven't been able to find what report setting sets the entire report to run as one continuous page in the web viewer window/preview tab. Any thoughts on what setting this is?

It sounds like they probably have a page break interval setting at 0 or at a very large amount so that the PDF pages fill completely. Let me know.
