We are having trouble with Word document in TeamSite becoming read-only when saving. Has anyone else had this problem?

Can you expand a bit more on this? Do you mean a Word file exists in teamSite and is not Read-Only (I assume you mean windows) but after editing and saving it is? Please detail the steps to reproduce.

Yes, this is a normal Word file, permissioned to Everyone, with the read-only propery turned off. On opening and editing a Word document, it saves successfully. But when the user attemps to save a second time, it suddenly becomes read-only. This behaviour is consistent across all of our development and production server. The environment is TS5.5.2 on Win 2K sp3 and the client is running Win 2000 Professiona with Office 2000l. This behaviour does not happen with NT 4 workstation clients.
