Difference in Generate: DCR vs Task Details window

I have a command in a presentation template. When I generate the DCR by clicking the Generate button in the data capture form, the command doesn't do anything. But it works if I generate the DCR from the Regenerate File option in the File Operation menu in Task Details window.

Is there a difference in how these two work. The command I am trying to generate removes a file from the task.

You'll have to provide more information - specifically the presentation template (as an attachment preferably) for anyone to be able to help diagonse your problem.

Also, please remember to include information in your posts about what version of the product(s) you are using (including service pack and patchs) and what operating system your TeamSite server is running on. Many questions may have different answers depending on this information
