Oracle Regexp Scripted DataSource
stvns78
I am using BIRT 2.3.2 for maximo 7.1.1.5+. Using the maximo templates it uses a scripted datasource/dataset. The problem i am having is when i try to pass a REGEXP_REPLACE function in sql statment of the OPEN function of the dataset it does not return properly as if i was querying Oracle directly.
The column contains XXXXX\XXXXX and i am splitting the string up into two different columns, all before the \ and all after the \. My query returns exactly as i want it to but BIRT returns the entire string in the first one and nothing in the second.
This is an example of the regexp statement:
regexp_replace(item.sugclass, '\\.+', NULL) as NOUN, regexp_replace(item.sugclass, '.+\\', NULL) as MODIFIER
Anyone else had issues with passing regular expressions to Oracle?
Thanks
Mike
