Most stable and Proven BIRT with Actuate version

Hi All

I am looking to implement a BIRT reporting project with licensed BIRT Actuate enterprise . I checked out the site and found that Actuate 11 is the latest version in the series. I want to know isf this one is the most stable compared to the older version or are there any bugs or drawbacks which need to be addressed. If yes then which version should I look for.
The main purpose for which I am going for this product is to implement the security and administration for the reports designed by BIRT tool.
Please help me out with this.

Hi pramod,

Sorry for the delayed response. Actuate BIRT is based on the open source BIRT, which goes through many release candidates before the final release. Actuate 11 is based on BIRT 2.6.0 and the most current version of BIRT out is 2.6.1, so there is a little bit of lag in the releases so that Actuate BIRT is very stable. So, you should be safe going with the latest version of Actuate BIRT.
