Scheduling the BIRT reports

Hi,

I am new to this eclipse BIRT. I already created some reports in BIRT now I want to schedule these.
Can anybody tell me how to schedule the reports in eclipse BIRT.(Eclipse BIRt Version : 2.3.2)
Can I use the Scheduled task service present in the Control panel of my windows system.
If possible pls tell me the process to schedule these BIRT reports.
I found one BIRT iServer for scheduling.I am not yet downloaded it. Before downloading that I just want to know whether it is useful for me or not.Pls tell me if we have any other options.
If it is useful pls tell me which version i need to download and is there any prerequisites fro that?
Please help me.

Hi Chaitanya,

You can definitely do the scheduling of your BIRT reports with the iServer. There is also more security with access to reports with it. I'm guessing you've already checked out the product page on this on the .com side?

I am unable to get the full content Scheduling of reports using Batch files.

A link to a blog entry by John Ward describes the use of a batch file on the Windows operating system to schedule the running of BIRT reports. Written in July 2006, this article is for version 2.1.0 of BIRT. 
 
Could you pls tell me how to get the full content on this. 
And can u tell me which version of the BIRT iServer I need to download for scheduling for my BIRT 2.3.2 version.
