Parameter Group Optional

Hi All.,

Am new to this birt report, Can any one help to solve this issue. I have a limitation like either i have to select 1st group of parameter or next group parameter. But must have to select any one group. The first group of parameter having 2 parameters and next group having one parameter. The parameter groups are like a radio button. i have to select any one group based on that i have to retrieve the values from database.
Ex
Parameter Group 1.
i. Start Date(text box)
ii. End date(text box)
Parameter Group 2.
i. List (today, yesterday, last week, last month)

I would have a default for the List (Today). Then check StartDate and EndDate. If values are blank or invalid, the use whatever the List has.<br />

Decide what to use in the dataSet BeforeOpen script. Something like this, though I have not tested it:<br />

if (params["EndDate"].value != null && params["EndDate"].value != "") {
